One year later: our innovative company building in practice
Last year we shared our plans for our new, innovative company building in this article. We are now proud to say that the future has become a reality. Over the past year, we’ve seen how our new work environment contributes to efficient business operations and supports our ambitions in the areas of sustainability and innovation.
You may have already visited us during the open house events last March and had the chance to explore the building. If not, we’d love to give you a look in this article.
Sustainability in practice
Sustainability was a central focus from the very beginning in the development of our new facility. For example, our facility is equipped with underfloor heating and heat pumps, and we collect rainwater for use in - for example - the car wash and toilet flushing. With our own solar roofs - on both the facility and the storage and transshipment areas - we generate enough energy to run our operations and charge our rental equipment.
With our smart Energy Management System (EMS), we can optimally align our energy needs with our consumption and energy generation. This allows us to use our energy as efficiently as possible and ensures we’re ready for the energy supply of tomorrow.
Room for quality and growth
Across more than 2.1 hectares of space, we have organized our processes to be smarter and more efficient. In our extensive production lines, we can maintain, test and prepare our entire product range for use. In addition, we have a 15-meter-high automated (cable) warehouse, long-term storage facilities and a 5,000 m² test site for testing and further developing new products. This allows us to continue to guarantee our quality, reliability and service.
Ready for the future
After a year, we can see that our new office building is doing exactly what it was built to do: providing space for growth, innovation and a sustainable way of working. And above all, it’s a great place for our employees to work.
🚁 Need a temporary power supply? Voet can take care of it in no time!
Our service is already fast, but we even have this helicopter on our roof - for situations that require even faster action 😉
