Looking ahead: our new innovative company building
After starting Voet in 2007, initially working from home and later moving into our facility on the Plantijnweg in Culemborg, it is now time for the next step. After almost 16 years, it’s become clear that our current building no longer meets our needs.
It’s time for an innovative and, above all, sustainable company building – one that not only supports our growth, but also becomes a home base for our employees.
Our new company building, located at our familiar site in Culemborg, will be fully gas-free and built in line with the latest sustainability standards. In addition to the standard requirements such as underfloor heating, heat pumps and solar panels, we are taking it one step further. Our goal is not only to meet the regulations, but to be a pioneer in the energy transition. The building has been designed to increase quality and efficiency with a Smart EMS, enabling us to manage our energy needs even better.
Innovation and efficiency
With a total site area of 2.1 hectares, our new building will be more than just a workplace: it is designed with the future of Voet Energy Solutions in mind. The addition of production lines will not only increase efficiency, but also bring structure to our processes. From battery containers to transformer rooms: our test facilities will provide all the necessary infrastructure to service, test and prepare our rental equipment. A fully automated cable warehouse of 15 meters high, long-term storage and a 5,000 m² testing ground for developing and testing new products will form the foundation of our pursuit of the highest level of quality and innovation. We will also capture and reuse as much rainwater as possible for process water, washing facilities and toilet flushing. We don’t just want to meet today’s expectations—we want to anticipate tomorrow’s.
Our new building will be sustainable both in energy use and energy supply. With our own solar roof, we will generate sufficient energy for our operations and to charge our products with green energy. A Smart EMS system will allow us to manage our complete energy performance and significantly reduce our ecological footprint.
