Our task: Ensure that guests noticed nothing of the maintenance while we continued to provide a reliable power supply. Our solution: 10 generators, all running on HVO100 fuel — a sustainable choice that significantly reduces CO₂ emissions.
Smart switching was key: at two stations, we operated in load share. This technology distributes the power demand between two generators so they don’t have to run at full load. The result? Lower fuel consumption and more efficient operation.

At four transformer stations, we were able to perform a synchronous grid takeover. This allowed us to safely connect under load without interrupting the power supply. For the other four stations, a different approach was required: the power was switched off first to connect the generators, after which we safely switched the customer installations back to our energy supply. After maintenance, everything was switched back and our equipment was removed.
By combining smart load sharing, synchronous transfer, and HVO100 fuel, we delivered the most sustainable and efficient solution, despite the high power demand and limited space at the park.

A smoothly executed project, satisfied guests, and a holiday park that kept running without interruption. A seamless collaboration between Voet, Kenter, and Center Parcs — that’s what we call worry-free energy.
