EV Experience Zandvoort: charging dozens of electric cars without additional grid capacity
During the EV Experience at Circuit Zandvoort, the latest electric vehicles from 50 different brands were ready to take to the track. In collaboration with Switch Solutions, we implemented a temporary energy supply system that enabled approximately 125 cars to complete their test laps.
Two battery units and seven 180 kW DC chargers formed the foundation. By intelligently managing the available energy, electric vehicles could be charged simultaneously across 14 charging points, without requiring additional grid capacity.
This project is a great example of how smart energy solutions can facilitate large-scale electric mobility, even in locations where grid capacity is limited.
