Safety requires our attention every day
At Voet, we work with energy. And that comes with responsibility. Every day, our colleagues work with installations and systems that need to operate safely and reliably. That is why we pay close attention to how we carry out our work, as well as to the knowledge, skills and resources needed to do so safely.
This way of working is reflected in our three Standards of Voet: connection, safety and quality. They form the foundation for how we work together, approach our work and interact with our surroundings.
You can see this in our training programmes, the way we prepare our projects and the measures we take to minimise risks on site. We also regularly review our own working methods. What could we do better or more safely? And what can we learn from it?

Each of these certifications has its own focus. Together, they demonstrate how we manage quality, environmental responsibility, information security, safety and CO₂ reduction across Voet.
Independently assessed
We are periodically assessed by independent certification bodies. These assessments verify whether our working methods and processes continue to meet the requirements associated with our certifications. This ensures that quality, safety and sustainability are not simply topics we talk about, but an integral part of our day-to-day operations.
Level 5 on the CO₂ Performance Ladder
Our Level 5 certification on the CO₂ Performance Ladder underlines our commitment to taking responsibility for our environmental impact. We not only look at our own CO₂ emissions, but also work to reduce the wider impact of our activities and collaborate with partners throughout the supply chain.
This is consistent with the way we look to the future. We develop energy solutions that are reliable for our customers while becoming increasingly mindful of the use of raw materials and fuels, as well as the emissions we generate. That is what we call looking ahead.
Safety starts today
Certifications help us stay focused and continue to improve. But ultimately, safety is determined by what happens every single day. By the technician who takes a moment to assess the situation on site before starting work. By the work planner who identifies a potential risk in advance. By the colleague who speaks up when something is not being done safely. And by an organisation that continues to invest in knowledge, equipment and people.
