New Truck and Super Silence Generator Put Into Operation
Last week, our new truck was officially put into operation. This impressive addition was delivered via DAF through Van Tilburg-Bastianen. Carrosseriebedrijf Schevers Schalkwijk then completed the build by adding a cargo box and painting the truck in the signature Voet color.
In addition, we've expanded our equipment fleet with a brand-new generator. This Super Silence 500 kVA TWIN Set container features two separate 250 kVA engines. A key advantage of this setup is the ability to run both engines synchronously using power management. When less energy is required, one engine can be shut down to save fuel.
Both Volvo engines are equipped with EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) technology. This system recirculates a portion of the exhaust gases back into the engine, significantly reducing nitrogen oxide emissions, which is beneficial for the environment.
This generator represents the latest in its class and is equipped with a digital system that allows us to remotely monitor and control all functions.
The 500 kVA TWIN Set also includes 160kW load banks managed by a Power Reverse System. In grid-connected situations, if excess power is generated (for example, by solar panels), these resistors will automatically activate step-by-step to balance the load.
Another standout feature is its Super Silence performance. From a distance of 7 meters, the generator emits only 49.5 dB of noise—equivalent to ambient background noise. This ultra-low noise level is achieved through advanced insulation and frequency-controlled cooling fans. This makes the unit ideal for providing power in residential areas or during events.
