New at Voet: The Blue Hybrid Box
Voet Energy Solutions introduces the Blue Hybrid Box — a 20ft container with an integrated battery pack and generator. Back in 2018, we launched a hybrid generator in a single enclosure with a capacity of 30 kVA, and now we have one with much more power. This new unit delivers a peak output of 0.6 MVA.
The Blue Hybrid Box is a perfect combination of a battery system, generator, load bank, and transformer. All of these components are housed together in a 20ft container and precisely tuned to one another. This makes the system less prone to errors compared to multiple separate machines connected together, and allows us to deploy the Blue Hybrid Box more quickly.
Extensively Tested
Before the official market launch, the Blue Hybrid Box underwent an extensive testing period. HOB, one of our regular generator suppliers, and DEIF, the developer of the underlying power management system, were closely involved. By testing this hybrid system together, we are confident that we have developed a strong and reliable product. During testing, we subjected the Blue Hybrid Box to as many different scenarios as possible. Whenever we encountered an error or saw opportunities for improvement, we addressed and implemented them immediately.
Reduced CO₂ and Lower Fuel Consumption
This hybrid container can achieve up to 90% CO₂ reduction on a project, while fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 70% compared to a conventional solution. The software system allows solar energy to be fed back into the battery pack. This stored energy can then be used to supply the electrical installation during cloudy periods.
Hybrid Generator for Synchronous Grid Takeover
The Blue Hybrid Box is suitable for synchronous grid takeovers. With its software, the grid can be taken over without any power outage — and with far less or even zero CO₂ emissions. The hybrid solution is equipped with the RPS system, reference, and a bypass line specifically designed for synchronous grid takeovers.
Thanks to the heavy-duty busbar, large connection box, and DEIF control system, the Blue Hybrid Box is the perfect foundation for a large power management setup — but also for a microgrid.
In combination with the software platform, we can monitor the machine’s performance anytime, anywhere. This makes it even easier to deliver top-notch service. The software allows us to read the exact status of the hybrid container and take preventive measures to minimize potential failures.
