Expanding Our Fleet with a New Volvo Equipped with Hiab Crane
We have recently expanded our fleet with a brand-new Volvo truck, the seventh vehicle in our fleet. This new addition will primarily be used for national transport, with a focus on delivering battery systems, hybrid containers, and generators.
New Volvo with Innovative Hiab Crane
One of the most notable features of this new Volvo is the Hiab 1188pro crane, a new type of crane that we have installed for the first time, powered by a battery pack. This innovative crane operates without the truck engine running, thanks to the lithium battery integrated into the truck bulkhead. This means the entire truck can be powered down during loading and unloading, allowing us to work more efficiently and in a more environmentally friendly way. Not only does this reduce our ecological footprint, but it also increases our operational flexibility.
As with our previous trucks, we chose a 4-axle flatbed truck with widespread axles. This configuration provides a maximum load capacity of 41.5 tons and the rear steering axle ensures additional maneuverability in hard-to-reach locations. To further increase our capacity, we have also added a 3-axle trailer, likewise equipped with widespread axles.
As with all our vehicles, this truck has been assembled and finished with the utmost care and precision to ensure we continue to provide our customers with the highest level of service.
