An Open Safety Culture at Voet Energy Solutions
Voet Energy Solutions has once again been certified for Step 3 of the Safety Culture Ladder. This means that safety is firmly embedded in the company’s culture. Last week, two auditors visited to assess how Voet and its employees handle safety in the workplace. During two site visits, they also checked safety awareness at project locations.
The Safety Culture Ladder is a certification and a tool used to measure how an organisation handles safety, attitude, and behaviour, both internally and externally. For Voet, a strong safety culture is of great importance – employees must have safety running through their veins.
The auditors awarded Voet a score of 93%. In their final presentation, they complimented the company on, among other things, its engaged management, the open safety culture where colleagues feel free to address each other about unsafe behaviour, and the strong knowledge and experience of the employees.
With a number of clear tips in hand, Voet Energy Solutions is preparing for 2023, when the company aims to be ready to climb to Step 4 of the Safety Culture Ladder.
