20 MVA Installation for Major Power Outage in Venlo
As the morning sun broke through, it became clear just how much had been achieved in such a short time. During the night from Thursday to Friday, a major power outage occurred at a 150 kV station in Venlo. As a result, many companies in and around Fresh Park Venlo spent the night in darkness.
In the middle of the night, Voet mobilised over twenty truck-and-generator combinations to Venlo to deliver 20 MVA of power, commissioned by grid operator Enexis. Thanks to the efforts of the Voet team and our partners, the installation was brought back online quickly. Staff and equipment from our branches in Echt, Culemborg, and Bolsward were sent to ensure the required capacity was on site within six hours.
