Voet Energy Solutions Purchases 20 New Battery Systems
Voet has invested in 20 new battery systems, with the largest units offering 1 MWh storage capacity and a 1 MW inverter. This allows us to meet our customers’ sustainable and technical demands even more effectively. By investing in these battery packs, Voet demonstrates green and innovative entrepreneurship.
By expanding our rental fleet with these battery packs, we can easily create a power plant of up to 5 MW. Our rental fleet now includes battery systems of 10, 20, 40, 75, 150, 300, 600, and 1,000 kW. These clean backup power solutions perfectly align with our daily operations; the battery packs are suitable for CO₂-free synchronous grid takeovers, can be integrated into the grid, and are ideal for peak shaving on grid connections.
With these battery systems in our rental fleet, we help our customers reduce CO₂ emissions and address climate challenges. Using these systems produces no CO₂, and they can also store surplus energy, enabling more efficient energy use. For construction companies, such a clean backup power solution can make obtaining permits easier. In tenders, you may even have a competitive advantage by stating that you work exclusively with battery packs — which can also store energy from solar panels.
In collaboration with Elmon, one of our suppliers, we have equipped the battery systems with a DEIF control system. Since 2012, we have been using this brand of control systems, meaning the new battery systems can seamlessly integrate with our other machines. This makes it easy to link all rental components together.
John Voet further explains the choice of these controllers:
"With DEIF’s ASC-4 and AGC mains controllers, we can quickly and easily build a power plant from multiple battery systems. This enables us to create a backup power solution of up to 5 MW."
But the battery systems can do more than just connect to each other, he adds:
"The compact design of the containers and the smart software make it possible to combine these battery packs with the grid and a generator to build a parallel system. This creates the perfect balance between storage and peak shaving."
At Voet Energy Solutions, you can now choose from green backup power solutions ranging from 15 kW to 5 MW. We can supply these systems at 0.4, 10, and 20 kV. Because we manage everything in-house and operate from three locations in the Netherlands, we can deploy our machines anywhere in the country at very short notice. From Culemborg (Gelderland), Echt (Limburg), and Bolsward (Friesland), we transport our battery packs, mobile fast chargers, temporary power supplies, hybrid solutions, and much more to any location.
