Energy-Positive Solar Roof
Last week, the entire roof (3,410 m²) of Voet’s new storage and transshipment facility was fitted with solar panels. As a result, Voet is not only energy neutral, but even energy positive. The solar panels generate so much electricity that Voet can supply excess power back to the grid.
Tak Techniek installed no fewer than 600 I-V solar panels across the entire roof in just three days. In addition to enabling fully energy-neutral operations, this allows us to charge products from our rental range using our self-generated green energy—such as battery packs, hybrid generators, and hybrid light towers.
